My Envy Notebook is having difficulty with recieving wireless signals at a reasonalbe distance from the wireless router. When the computer is in the same room as the router everthing is OK, but at 50 feet away, it works intermittenly even though the wireless properties show 4 bars out of 5 at that distance.

I have replaced my old wireless router with a Netgear AC1900, a very highly rated wireless router and the problem did not change. I have read about all the problems with the Intel N2230 wireless card and I don't seem to have those problems. Should I replace the wireless card? I would like to know what other wireless cards are compatible with this notebook just in case it it an N2230 issue. The serial number of the Envy is [Personal Information Removed].
